Exhaust heads for industrial tanks and vessels

Industrial exhaust heads, also known as industrial exhaust silencers, is a type of centrifugal separator designed to be installed at the end of a ventilation pipe. The most common application for industrial exhaust heads is to vent steam from an industrial tank before it is discharged or vented to atmosphere, and is also well known for eliminating water damage to roofs and other equipment.
The three most common reasons for using an industrial exhaust head are:
Environmental: Reduces the transfer of water vapor and any contaminants it may contain to the surrounding area (such as oil and water treatment chemicals)
Economy: water recovery and recycling / chemical products for boiler treatment
Structural prevention: reducing condensation on roofs
Exhaust heads are commonly referred to as “mufflers” and while there is a dampening effect on the exhaust sound, this noise reduction is a by-product of the indirect output path rather than its purpose; Exhaust heads are not designed to reduce ventilation sound, but to reduce droplet removal, thus being able to remove 99% of entrained droplets larger than 10 microns.
Arbomtec has extensive experience in the industrial sector and its industrial exhaust heads are designed for the relief of steam from tanks and vessels at low pressures and temperatures, reducing and draining the drops of condensed steam in suspension from the flow.
