One of our industrial products is expansion heads, which were created to facilitate the process of draining steam droplets and may also be known as industrial exhaust silencers.
This equipment was designed to work as a centrifuge separator and installed at the end of ventilation tubes to assist in the ventilation of the vapor from an industrial tank, filtering it before being released into the atmosphere. In addition to this functionality, the expansion head tends to prevent water damage to roofs and other equipment.
The main benefits of installing an expansion head are that, in terms of the environment, this equipment can reduce the transfer of water vapor or any contaminants that are present in the evaporated air and that could harm the surrounding area, such as chemicals used in the oil and water treatment.
Another interesting benefit is the savings generated, because with the expansion head it is possible to start water recovery and recycling processes.

One important thing to keep in mind is that while expansion heads are known as silencers and the muffled effect on the exhaust sound is common, it was not specifically designed as a silencer, this noise reduction is a by-product of the exhaust system. indirect exit path and not the main functionality of the expansion head, since its purpose is expressly to relieve steam from tanks and vessels of low pressures and temperatures, reducing and draining the drops of condensed steam in suspension from the flow. It can remove 99% of entrained droplets larger than 10 microns.
